FEES & FAQS
Location
I work from my private studio in rural Worcestershire. The setting is peaceful and calm. I am a 5 minute drive from J6, M5 and six miles from the centre of Worcester. There is lots of space for parking. Clients travel from across the West Midlands including Kidderminster, Evesham, Sandwell, Malvern, Worcester, Droitwich, Redditch and South Birmingham.

Fees
There is no charge for an initial 15 minute consultation phone call. This is so we can discuss what you are looking for. Session fees are £60 per session and appointments are available Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings.
All materials are provided for in person sessions but if we are working online you will need to provide your own materials. A concessionary rate is available for people in receipt of benefits, low income households and full time students. Please ask for further information if you are interested in this.
Appointments are for one hour but up to 90 minutes is allowed for EMDR sessions.
Availability
I offer sessions during the week Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 6pm, and occasionally Saturday mornings.
Cats
Please be aware that I may have cats in the studio. If you are allergic to cats or dislike them please let me know before your appointment. Thank you!

FAQs
How many Therapy sessions will I need?
This is really difficult to predict as it depends on what your hopes are for therapy, which therapy we use and what sort of issues you would like to work on.
When we have completed an assessment or history taking session we can think about how many sessions might be helpful to you. Many clients prefer to work at their own pace, others prefer a plan so do think about how you would like to work.
If you are on a budget let me know as soon as possible as we can use brief therapy techniques that are solution focused. Brief therapy is considered to be 8 sessions or less. Please be aware this approach is not always appropriate for some issues.
Do you have a concessionary rate?
Yes, but on a discretionary basis so please ask for more information and be prepared to describe your circumstances.
Can I use public transport to get to in person sessions?
No. You will need your own transport to get here as there are no public transport links. As an alternative I do provide online therapy too.
I would like to work with you but I’m allergic to cats!
No problem. Let me know if you have a cat allergy before your appointment so I can ensure they are not in my workspace. Alternatively, if your allergy is severe, we can work online.
Do you provide supervision to other counsellors and therapists?
Yes, I do provide supervision but only to other art therapists.
I need an urgent appointment. Can you help?
I am sorry but I cannot provide urgent appointments if you are in crisis. If you need help immediately please contact one of the following:
